In addition to the garden’s eight acres of outdoor exhibits, there are seventeen indoor learning areas, including 17 interactive exhibits. The indoor learning areas include a discovery center with smart tables, time lapse videos, and an OmniGlobe that can display geographically accurate views of deforestation, the ocean currents, and the moon.
In addition to the garden, Dallas Arboretum also offers other features, including fountains, statues, and a classic rock concert. It’s one of the top ten botanical gardens in the country and offers a wide range of attractions and events. Visitors can enjoy a variety of family-friendly activities, such as the Glade Puppet Show, a live science show, and a Classic Rock concert. Tickets must be purchased online, and there is a $3 entrance fee for children under age three. There are also parking lots and valet parking available for visitors to the garden. Self-parking is available in the main public lot for $10, and will be $5 for each additional day.
