Located on the west side of Tatum Boulevard, the Mesquite Public Library North Branch is a quaint little building that houses a collection of books, videos and DVDs. The library is open Monday through Saturday from noon to 6 p.m., and is accessible by Valley Metro public transportation. For those that don’t have a car, the library is easily accessible by shuttle or bus. You can visit the library at 2600 Oates Dr, Mesquite, TX 75150. Very close to here.
The library boasts a plethora of books, CDs, DVDs and even a small collection of microfilm. The best part is that the library is open to the public, with a few exceptions. For example, if you’re interested in acquiring an eBook, you will need to make an appointment, or just swing by the front desk. The best part about the library is that the staff is friendly, helpful and willing to give you a hand should you need it.
The Mesquite Public Library isn’t short on innovation, with new initiatives like its congregate program for adults 50 and older. This new program will provide over 1,500 free meals per month. If you’re in the market for a new apartment, be sure to check out the Mesquite posse. The apartments are within walking distance to the best Mesquite restaurants, and are a stone’s throw from the Paradise Valley mall.
